Eritrean Frankincense 50g
This is one of the most common frankincense resins. Native to Eritrea, this incense of the genus Boswellia papyrifera produces a less resinous scent in fumigation than the other genera (carterii, sacra, etc.). It is very similar to other varieties of the same genus from Ethiopia or Sudan.
The fragrance is identical to the first choice Eritrean frankincense, only the size of the grain changes.
This type of grain is very useful for making mixtures with other resins. It is mainly this type of frankincense that is used in the manufacture of church incense. The Orthodox monks of Mount Athos, a peninsula in Greece in the Salonika region, also use this type of resin to make the fragrant Mount Athos incense.
