Palo Santo and red or white sandalwood

Scented woods for burning

Red or white sandalwood, Palo Santo, Cedar or Juniper, pieces, powder or chips

Naturally scented woods are widely used in fumigation. Depending on the country, different essences are preferred. Palo Santo in South America (Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, etc.), white or red sandalwood in India or the Orient, not forgetting types of cedar and juniper wood.
Note also the use of agarwood or aloe wood, from the Aquilaria family, mainly appreciated in Japan or China. You won't find it on our site because of its sometimes astronomical price (several hundred Euros for... one small gram for the most expensive varieties like Kyara). Moreover, it is a wood regulated by the Cites.
