Beeyo Madow Dark Frankincense
 
A little-known frankincense from the Ogaden region of Ethiopia, which borders Somalia (Kenya to the south and Djibouti to the north) and whose inhabitants have the culture of this large neighbouring country.
 
This incense does not resemble the other varieties at all, visually, the colour is black (or dark grey), the pieces, often very large, are dry on the outside and sticky on the inside.
 
The smell when fumigated is very balsamic with sweet, green notes.
