Sal Resin

It is the resin most used by Himalayan shamans.
Sal is a tree from Asia (India, Bangladesh, Burma, Nepal...) where it is commonly used as timber. It can reach 40m in height, its leaves are used as plates, its oil is also transformed and used in human food.
It is a tree revered by Hindus, Jains and Buddhists. The Buddha himself is said to have been born under a Sal tree.
